    Fine Art Conservation & Restoration

Professional conservation care for paintings and important works of art

Raven Art Services offers fine art conservation and restoration services for collectors, galleries, estates, designers, and institutions throughout the Wood River Valley and the greater Mountain West.

Through our partnership with Fine Art Conservation Laboratories, we can coordinate professional conservation treatment for artwork requiring cleaning, stabilization, restoration, or specialized care.

Raven serves as your local point of contact throughout the process — from the initial evaluation and transportation of the artwork to treatment coordination and its safe return.

    A Seamless Conservation Process

    Specialized expertise, coordinated through Raven

When an artwork needs more than routine handling or installation, finding the right conservator and safely getting the work there can be complicated.

Raven Art Services makes that process easier.

We work directly with Fine Art Conservation Laboratories (FACL), an established conservation studio specializing in the preservation and restoration of paintings and works of art.

Depending on the project, Raven can assist with:

    • Initial condition review and project coordination
    • Photography and documentation of the artwork
    • Professional packing and preparation for transport
    • Secure transportation to and from the conservation studio
    • Coordination with the conservator regarding treatment recommendations
    • Return delivery and reinstallation following treatment

Our goal is to provide clients with a single, trusted point of contact from beginning to end.

    Conservation & Restoration Services

    Treatment tailored to the artwork

Conservation projects vary widely depending on the age, materials, condition, and history of an artwork. Through our conservation partnership, treatment may include:

    • Painting cleaning and surface treatment
    • Removal of discolored varnish and accumulated grime
    • Stabilization of cracking, flaking, or lifting paint
    • Repair of tears and structural damage
    • Water-damage treatment
    • Smoke and fire-damage conservation
    • Restoration of damaged or deteriorated paintings
    • Preventive conservation and condition assessment
    • Historical artwork preservation
    • Mural conservation and restoration
    • Disaster-response consultation for damaged artwork and collections

Every conservation project begins with an evaluation so the appropriate treatment can be recommended before work proceeds.

    Local Service, National-Level Expertise

Conservation support without having to manage the logistics yourself

For collectors in Ketchum, Sun Valley, Hailey, Bellevue, and throughout Idaho and the Mountain West, conservation work often requires sending artwork to a specialized studio outside the region.

Raven Art Services can manage that process on your behalf.

By combining Raven's local art-handling and transportation services with the expertise of Fine Art Conservation Laboratories, clients have access to professional conservation resources while continuing to work with a company they already know and trust.
